Solcor Ultra Strong is the ultimate in strength and durability. Designed for maximum performance for extended use in marine environments with its unique tight braiding pattern utilising UHMWP yarn.

Inner – Solcor Solid Core natural rubber.

Outer – Polyethylene braid- ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWP).

Uses – a popular choice in marine environments with the White being ideal for super yachts and launches where ultimate performance meets ultimate presentation.

Availability – Generally not a stock item – this product is manufactured for confirmed custom orders in Black or White, diameters 6mm, 8mm and 10mm.

Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) – a production run requires a minimum order of 1000 metres.

Order Lead Time – currently approximately 16 weeks from order placement to delivery.

Runs of up to 100,000 metres can be produced, please get in touch to order.

Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE, UHMW) is a subset of the thermoplastic polyethylene. The longer chain serves to transfer load more effectively to the polymer backbone by strengthening intermolecular interactions. This results in a very tough material, with the highest impact strength of any thermoplastic presently made.
